The Board of Directors of the Victoria Real Estate Board (VREB) is pleased to announce that, after an exhaustive national search, VREB Operations Manager David Corey is the successful candidate for the position of Executive Officer.
When David joined the VREB 16 years ago, he brought a background in information technology and real estate to the VREB. He has since worked in a variety of management positions, most recently in the capacity of Operations Manager.
"We are delighted to appoint such a well-suited candidate to lead the Board into a new era of growth and development," commented Randi Masters, VREB President. "David’s past experience as a REALTOR® and his extensive experience as a senior manager with the Board places him in a unique position to identify successful strategies to address the challenges of the ever-changing organized real estate profession," added Masters.
Transition plans are in development for David to take over from the current retiring Executive Officer, Glenn Terrell.
